For four years, I have been supporting an independent theater festival on Wilhelmplatz in Cologne. In the middle of a lively, multicultural neighborhood, the Tatsch Mahal, an amphitheater, becomes a stage for courageous plays against xenophobia and Nazification. The festival is free, outdoors, and open to everyone – an open space for exchange, expression, and community.
